The incident occurred during the match between FC Voluntari and Bihor Oradea in Romania, following a serious injury to a player.
The match between FC Voluntari and Bihor Oradea, in the seventh round of the promotion phase of the Romanian Second Division, on Thursday, was marked by the serious injury of Alexandru Git, a Voluntari player, in an unfortunate event that led to the ambulance that went onto the pitch having to be pushed by players, as well as other people connected to the game!
It was already the 90th minute when Git suffered a serious injury to his right leg, with initial examinations, according to the Romanian press, namely Digi Sport, confirming a fracture of the tibia and fibula. Razvan Gunie, a Bihor Oradea player, was sent off with a straight red card, with the score already 2-1 (the final score) in favor of Voluntari.
Due to the pitch being waterlogged from the rain, the ambulance had difficulty moving forward when entering and leaving the field and needed to be pushed by some players from both teams.
The game was interrupted for about ten minutes for assistance to Git, who has already undergone successful surgery this Friday.
