Manchester United returns to winning ways in the Premier League.
Manchester United beat Chelsea by the narrowest of margins ( 1-0 ) in the 33rd round of the Premier League. Bruno Fernandes once again provided the assist to put United back on the winning track.
Initially, we had three Portuguese players. Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot were starters for the Red Devils . On the home team’s side, Pedro Neto was also a starter. Dário Essugo was an unused substitute.
The lone goal of the match came near the end of the first half. Bruno Fernandes broke down the right flank and passed to Matheus Cunha, who came from behind to finish first=time into the goal (43′).
The Portuguese international reached his 18th assist in the Premier League, leaving him just two shy of the competition’s record.
The teams went to the dressing rooms with United leading the match. In the second half, the Blues tried everything to score. However, the score remained unchanged.
With this victory (1-0), Manchester United returns to winning ways and remains in third place with 58 points ten behind Chelsea, who are in sixth. The Red Devils are thus in a great position to secure a place in the next Champions League.
