Sp. This request was repeated once and twice, leading many fans to hurry towards the exit doors before a correction was heard. It turned out to be a mistake, and the fans were asked to remain calm.
Towards the end of the game, Betis explained to journalists that it was a mistake by the coach. The idea was to play a recorded message in Portuguese asking Sp. Braga fans to remain in the stands immediately after the final whistle for safety reasons, but instead of that message, what was heard was the aforementioned message, in Spanish, requesting the evacuation of the stadium.
