Benfica loses appeal regarding the match against FC Porto.

Benfica’s SAD (Sporting Limited Company) lost its appeal against the decision initially issued by the FPF (Portuguese Football Federation) Disciplinary Council, which fined the club €10,200 for an incident that occurred during the league match against FC Porto at the Estadio da Luz.

It should be noted that this particular fine was related to objects being thrown towards the FC Porto bench (the Dragons’ equipment manager was hit) Benfica filed an improper hierarchical appeal to the full CD panel, which dismissed the action, thus confirming the fine imposed in the first instance.
