Leão and Joao Mario as substitutes in Milan’s victory over Bologna

A week after conceding a draw against Roma, Milan responded in the best possible way and beat Bologna 3-0 , in a game where Rafael Leão and João Mário remained on the substitutes’ bench.

In a fairly balanced match, the  Rossoneri  built a two-goal advantage by halftime, with the scoring opening in the 20th minute. After a persistent attack in the area, Rabiot served up a perfect pass to Loftus-Cheek, who volleyed the ball into the back of the net.

Shortly after, Milan were awarded a penalty and Nkunku didn’t hesitate when taking the shot. The ball kissed the back of the net and the visitors went into halftime leading 2-0.

Well, if the first half ended in the best possible way, the second started at full throttle, with Milan scoring their third goal. A loss of possession in a dangerous area allowed Rabiot to face the goalkeeper and finish for 3-0. This victory keeps Milan five points behind Inter, the leader of the Italian League with 55 points , who in this round prevailed over Cremonese (2-0).
