The forward was involved in threats against Vitória de Guimarães players during a home win in September. Nélson Oliveira and Leonel Olímpio, also from the Minho club, were also sanctioned.

Chiquinho, forward for Alverca, was suspended by the Disciplinary Council of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) due to threatening expressions or gestures during the home victory over Vitória de Guimarães (2-0) in September . Absent from the match sheet at the time, the winger targeted forward Nélson Oliveira and Leonel Olímpio, assistant coach of the Minho team, in the locker room area.

In addition to being fined 204 euros, Chiquinho was suspended for one game, missing the match against Moreirense on Saturday (6 pm). Alverca, in turn, will pay 510 euros for improper conduct by the public and 612 euros for non-compliance with other duties, a reason that also justified a fine of 1785 euros for Vitória de Guimarães.

Regarding the “Conquistadores” players, Nélson Oliveira was fined 286 euros and Leonel Olímpio was suspended for 45 days and fined 1070 euros, due to aggression.

Returning to Portugal after spells at Wolves, Stoke City, and Mallorca, Chiquinho has scored one goal in five games for Alverca. In Portugal, the forward played for Famalicão, Estoril, and Tondela, in addition to completing his youth career at Sporting.
