Monaco travelled to Toulouse and drew 2-2 in a match counting towards matchday 31 of Ligue 1. The home team managed to equalize in the 90th minute.
Despite being the away team, it was Monaco who broke the deadlock in the opening minutes, with Jordan Teze putting the principality’s side ahead. In the 18th minute, Lamine Camara extended the lead, giving Monaco a two-goal advantage going into halftime.
Toulouse returned for the second half determined to change the course of the game and in the 61st minute reduced the deficit to 2-1 through Jacen Russell-Rowe.
This result held until the 90th minute, and when everything seemed decided, Emerson, the Brazilian forward for Toulouse, scored the goal that secured the draw and a point for the home team.
With this late draw, Monaco remained in seventh place, one step away from the European competition qualification spots. Toulouse, meanwhile, recorded their fourth consecutive game without a win, but have already secured their place in Ligue 1 for next season.
