Rio Ave’s coach was happy with Cesary Miszta’s return.

In the press room, Silaidopoulos said that the team didn’t make it easy and that what failed was their efficiency. The coach said that the team could have finished the game early and then allowed quick transitions. The coach expressed his happiness at the return of Cesary Miszta.

What do you think of this draw?

We never thought the game was easy, I think we did everything well, but we need to be more effective in the final third. I think we dominated the first half, we had several opportunities, and if we had scored it would have been a completely different game. In the first half, AVS had some dangerous transitions that created some chances. We did good things, we had good possession, we created good opportunities, and if we had scored it would have been a different game. I think there’s a bitter taste in our mouths for not winning the game, but we can’t complain about the players’ commitment. If we had scored on the chances we had before 1-0, it would have been easier for us to finish the game. There are still many things to improve. We played a good game, the team was ambitious, we wanted to win, but it is what it is, we couldn’t achieve victory.

Return of Miszta

Miszta is a very important player for us, he’s the captain. He was a starter before his injury and he’s been working hard to come back. I think we have one of the three best goalkeepers in the league and any of them can play. We prepared for his return, but he worked very hard to be here and he’s a very important player for us.
