We knew they were a direct opponent and that they hadn’t lost here yet under coach Alvaro [Pacheco]. We had more possession, but we lacked the final third. Casa Pia ended up having more opportunities, one or two of which we conceded.
It was another point in our journey. We didn’t try to hold onto the result, but sometimes when you can’t win, you don’t lose. We managed to maintain the same points difference, we won the head-to-head matchup, and we’re in a better position than when we arrived here, when we were in the playoff zone, and now we depend on our own performance.
Points are hard=fought. And at a time when every point is important, there’s some nervousness on both sides. Nobody wants to lose, and these are direct confrontations. Knowing it was going to be a game against a direct rival, it will be a close match until the end. We are better than when we arrived, and we have to continue. This region deserves to stay in the First Division.
