Moncarapachense in mourning: Nassur Bacem dies on the field.

Nassur Bacem, a 27-year-old left-back, suffered a sudden illness and died during the first half of the Moncarapachense-Imortal match, in the third round of the Algarve Cup. On Wednesday night, in the 28th minute, Bacem collapsed and went into cardiorespiratory arrest. Despite the efforts of the medical teams and INEM (National Institute of Medical Emergency), death was confirmed at the scene.

Having trained at Águeda, Sporting, Gafanha, Académica, Sp. Braga and Leixões, Nassur Bacem also represented Vista Alegre, Marítimo, Oliv. Hospital and Camacha.
