The Formula 1 world champion watched the match live alongside his Portuguese girlfriend, Margarida Corceiro, in the stadium’s VIP boxes. He was also greeted by Frederico Varandas, the club’s president (who watched the game alongside the Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro).
Norris received a jersey with the number 4, which he uses in the World Drivers’ Championship. Despite not being an Arsenal fan = he has previously expressed sympathy for Bristol City = Norris was filmed by TVI at the end of the match with a broad smile.
