Andy Milne will be attending his tenth consecutive World Cup with the ‘Three Lions’.

A well-known England fan plans to sell his second home to finance a trip to the World Cup. Andy Milne, a 62-year-old retired teacher, put his property located in Cheshire up for sale so he can follow the tournament in the USA, Mexico and Canada.

This will be Milne’s tenth World Cup following the ‘Three Lions’ national team, and he is already known throughout the country as one of the team’s most loyal fans. His first was in Spain in 1982, and he even attended a Women’s World Cup in 2023.

Milen lives in Thailand and rented the aforementioned house in Cheshire, which she now hopes to sell for £350,000 (€400,000).

We’ve had a second home for 27 years, so I thought it was the right time to profit from it. I definitely want to see the whole tournament. I’m going to the US on June 3rd and I’ll be there for seven weeks. So it’s going to cost quite a bit of money, Milne revealed to the Mirror newspaper.

I always try to save money whenever I can. If possible, I stay at friends’ houses. I’m lucky to have friends in Mexico, Dallas, and Vancouver, he admitted.

England’s first match is in Dallas, USA, against Croatia. Then, further north in Massachusetts, they face Ghana, finishing the group stage against Panama in New Jersey.
