Diogo Costa makes a promise: There will be more next year.
The champions’ parade at the bandstand marked the apotheosis of the FC Porto celebrations in the early hours of Sunday morning. The FC Porto festivities culminated there, next to the Estádio do Dragão, with brief statements from the club’s top officials.
Francesco Farioli, the coach who orchestrated the title win, addressed the fans in Portuguese for the first time. As Jorge Costa said, we’re a team again, a great team. We achieved this together. This title is ours, long live FC Porto. Good night, the Italian stated. Captain Diogo Costa was also brief, but left a promise. We missed this so much!
