League: Pavlidis’ hat-trick puts him at the top of the goalscoring …..

Vangelis Pavlidis was outstanding in Benfica’s 4-0 thrashing of Moreirense , and with his hat=trick he jumped to the top of the league’s top scorers list.

The Greek forward responded in the best way to Luis Suárez’s brace in the Sporting-AVS match and prevented the Colombian forward from settling into the top scorer position. In third place is Clayton (Rio Ave), with ten goals, one more than Pedro Gonçalves (Sporting) and two ahead of forwards Schettine (Moreirense) and Pablo (Gil Vicente).
