Benfica thrashed Electrico 5-0 in the second leg of their quarter-final tie, with three of the five goals coming in the second half through Lucio Rocha, Arthur, and Carlos Monteiro. In the first half, Pany Varela and Afonso Jesus began building Benfica’s lead.
Leoes Porto Salvo once again prevailed over Rio Ave, this time with a resounding victory (7-3). Highlights included braces from Ruan Silvestre, Anderson Fortes, and Rúben Teixeira, while Peixinho scored twice and Francisco Silva added another for the Vila do Conde side.
The two teams will now face off in the next phase of the competition, with the other semi=final pitting the winners of the following matches against each other: Sporting=Torreense and Ferreira do Zezere=Sp. Braga.
