Eli Junior Kroupi continues to confirm his enormous potential in the Premier League. The 19-year-old forward scored on Tuesday in the 1-1 draw against Manchester City, bringing his tally to 13 goals in the 2025/26 season and becoming the teenager with the most goals in a single Premier League season.
The Portuguese-French player thus surpassed the previous records of Robbie Keane, who scored 12 goals for Coventry in 1999/00, and Robbie Fowler, who achieved the same mark for Liverpool in 1993/94.
The goal scored against Pep Guardiola’s team also allowed Kroupi to achieve another impressive feat: he became the first teenager to score against all three top-placed teams in the Premier League in the same season, after already scoring against Arsenal (champions) and Manchester United (third place).
it should be recalled that the young forward, eligible to represent Portugal, opted to play for France, something confirmed this Tuesday by Roberto Martínez at the press conference announcing the Portuguese squad for the 2026 World Cup .
