Sporting announces sold=out tickets for the derby against Benfica.

Sporting announced this Thursday that tickets for the  eternal derby against Benfica, scheduled for next Sunday at the Alvalade Stadium, are  sold out.

We can therefore expect a full house and a great atmosphere for the game, which could leave a strong mark at the top of the standings.

Sporting, managed by Rui Borges and still with a game in hand, need a win to maintain pressure on FC Porto and to dispel any doubts about their second-place position.

José Mourinho’s Eagles, for their part, are playing for their last chance to still reach second place, which guarantees a spot in the Champions League play-offs next season, but, in addition to having to win at Alvalade, they will also have to hope that their rival stumbles again before the end of the championship.

The big game of the 30th round, which will be refereed by João Pinheiro, is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM next Sunday.
