The 24=year=old midfielder from Betis is one of Sporting’s main targets to replace the likely sale of Morten Hjulmand.

Betis is currently working with a price tag slightly above 30 million euros to potentially negotiate the transfer of Spanish midfielder Sergi Altimira, according to Maisfutebol .

In recent weeks, following meetings within the club’s structure, Sevilla has projected the sale of two players next summer: a central defender and a winger. Therefore, Altimira’s departure is not initially part of the plan.

With no urgency to sell the 24-year-old midfielder, Betis will therefore start any negotiations slightly above market value. However, depending on the negotiations (and conditions), the final price could fall below 30 million euros.

As our newspaper exclusively revealed last Monday, Sergi Altimira is one of the main names on Sporting’s list of targets to replace the likely transfer of Morten Hjulmand.

Sporting Lisbon’s SAD (Sporting Lisbon’s management company) has not yet finalized its shortlist to reinforce the midfield, which, it should be remembered, will also be impacted by the departure of Hidemasa Morita, but it is already making some exploratory moves.

Sergi Altimira, 24, has represented Betis for three seasons, having started his career in Barcelona’s youth academy and later making his professional debut at the modest CE Sabadell.
