There’s plenty of football to watch this Sunday, both nationally and internationally. But before that, Rui Borges previews the game between Sporting and V. Guimaraes this Monday.
Nationally, Casa Pia and Tondela are playing a final for survival. There are also games in the fight for European qualification, with Sp. Braga and Gil Vicente taking to the field. There is also a game in the Second League and the women’s youth league.
Elsewhere, the rounds continue in the major European leagues: England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France. The big game this Sunday is Manchester United vs. Liverpool, for the 35th round of the Premier League.
In terms of sports, there’s the League Cup final in basketball. There’s also Portuguese participation in cycling. The Beach Soccer Super Cup is underway, as is the Superbike World Championship with Miguel Oliveira participating. Rugby, tennis, table tennis, and volleyball competitions are also continuing.
