Antony considers the Portuguese player and Neymar to be the most talented players he has ever seen on the field.
Currently at Betis, on loan from Manchester United, Antony recalled his time at Old Trafford with Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he sees as a role model for everyone.
He’s a great person. He even joked with me once, saying that people find him arrogant, but in everyday life he’s very playful. I learned a lot from him, confessed Antony, in an interview with Globoesporte, in which he revealed that he “talked about life, books, and various subjects outside of football” with the Portuguese star.
Antony also recalled a funny episode with CR7. Once, in the sauna, he joked with me. He showed off his physique and asked me if I looked 23 years old. I was even embarrassed, because everyone sees the level of care he takes, even at 40 years old, he said.
The 26-year-old Brazilian forward shared his desire to play in his second World Cup for the Selecao and confessed that Neymar is the most talented player he has ever seen. He and Cristiano Ronaldo, too. Cristiano helped me a lot, including in my debut against Arsenal. But Neymar is exceptional, he added.
