The Portuguese center contributed eight points to the 140-122 victory in Indiana.

The Boston Celtics’ fourth consecutive victory in the NBA regular season was aided by Neemias Queta, who started in the five-point lineup and scored eight points in the 140-122 win against the Indiana Pacers.

The Portuguese center was on the court for just over 20 minutes, adding seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocks to his individual record.

In a game where they converted 20 three-pointers, the Celtics had Jaylen Brown (30 points) as their star player, well supported by Payton Pritchard (29 points and nine rebounds).

Boston remains in third place in the Eastern Conference, with 19 wins in 30 games. The Detroit Pistons continue to lead the standings, despite their loss this morning in Salt Lake City to the Utah Jazz, 131-129. Keyonte George scored 31 points and made the game-winning shot, but Cade Cunningham’s 29 points and 17 assists proved insufficient, as he missed the Pistons’ final shot of the game.

The Washington Wizards set a new season high in their 138-117 victory over the Toronto Raptors, while the Chicago Bulls beat the Philadelphia 76ers (109-102) with a 10-0 run in the final 2:45 minutes of the game, securing their fifth consecutive win in the regular season. Also noteworthy are the 30 points scored by Devin Booker in the Phoenix Suns’ victory in New Orleans against the Pelicans (115-108), and the performances of James Harden (34 points) and Brook Lopez (31 points and a career-high 9 three-pointers in a single game) in the Los Angeles Clippers’ win in Portland (119-103).
