Monaco beat Galatasaray 1-0 at the Stade Louis II on Tuesday in a Champions League matchday 6 game, allowing them to draw level with the Turkish side in the standings and move into the playoff zone for the Round of 16.

An important victory for the French league team, which had only managed one win in the first five rounds, now re-entering the fight for a play-off spot , although it could still drop a few positions after Wednesday’s games.
