The kit was unveiled this Thursday and will be debuted against France on March 26th.

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) unveiled the national team’s new alternate kit, in partnership with Jordan Brand, a Nike brand associated with former basketball player Michael Jordan.

The jersey, with its dark blue tones and gold accents, features the famous Jumpman logo, which is Jordan’s trademark.

The new equipment will be used for the first time on March 26th, in the friendly match against France, which serves as preparation for the final phase of the World Cup next summer.

“This launch symbolizes the union between two global references that share boldness, innovation and a passion for sport. Seeing Jumpman on our kit reinforces the cultural power of Brazilian football and Brazil’s ability to inspire the world,” said CBF president Samir Xaud, quoted on the organization’s website.

Brazil’s new alternative kit was developed with Aero-FIT cooling technology, which helps players stay dry during games. In addition, the material is 11 percent lighter and up to 238 percent more breathable, increasing comfort and consequently improving athlete performance.
