Clubs begin preparing for the 2026/27 season on May 20th.
The General Assembly of the Portuguese Professional Football League to discuss regulatory changes for the 2026/27 season will take place on May 20, according to a statement released by the organization.
The extraordinary meeting will take place in the auditorium of the Arena Liga Portugal, in Porto, where proposals to amend the regulations governing competitions, discipline and refereeing organized by the body will be reviewed, discussed and voted on, in addition to other matters of associative interest.
According to the statement, members may submit, in writing, specific proposals on the agenda items they wish to have submitted for consideration by the General Assembly, up to the third working day prior to the meeting date.
