Daniel Bragança returns to the bench for the B team.

Daniel Bragança is back in action. The left-footed player has been called up by João Gião and is on the bench for the B team, which faces Académico de Viseu this Sunday in Alcochete, in a match of the 17th round of the Second League.

The midfielder, it should be remembered, was injured on February 15, 2025, in the draw against Arouca (2=2), and has not set foot on the pitch since then.

In the meantime, he underwent surgery after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, marking the second serious injury for the player, who is one of Sporting’s captains.

It’s a comeback almost a year after the knee injury.
