Hugo Oliveira praised the opponents’ “alternatives, aggressiveness and technical quality”.

Famalicão’s coach, Hugo Oliveira, said he expects a “great football spectacle” in the derby against Sporting Braga, in a test he considers important to assert the team against a “big” side.

Preview of the Sp. Braga match

“Two teams that like to play to win. With talent, ambition, and a strong atmosphere off the pitch. It has all the makings of a great night of Portuguese football. Our mentality is to approach every game with the goal of winning. In the two games against big teams, we didn’t get the result we wanted. We hope that will change this time. Sp. Braga has options, aggression, technical quality, and players who can make a difference in the game, like Ricardo Horta or João Moutinho.”

Famalicão’s stance

“We are organized, competent, and usually strong at home. We want to impose our game. It will be a competitive match decided by details =whoever is better will win.”

Technical team’s journey

“It’s positive that we’re here almost a year later. There’s a lot to do, but it’s been a pleasant adventure and I’m eager for the future. Goals come from the collective. Zabiri is improving, Elisor too, and I believe they will both score goals. Famalicão will have enough goals to achieve its objectives.”

Pedro Bondo at CAN

“Having players called up is a sign of quality. We are pleased that Pedro is going to the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) and we want more of our players in national teams  , it shows we are on the right track.”
