Benfica’s goalkeeper reacted to the victory over Napoli in the Champions League.
In his third season with Benfica, 24-year-old Trubin remains untouchable in goal for the Eagles. Following the victory over Napoli (2-0) in the sixth round of the Champions League group stage, the Ukrainian giant took to social media to analyze the team’s current form under José Mourinho.
“There’s a lot of talk around here, but the answer is always on the pitch. The team did a great job and achieved an important victory at home. We have new challenges ahead, so we continue to work with dedication,” he wrote.
After 48 and 51 games in 2023/24 and 2024/25 respectively, Trubin has played 22 games and conceded 15 goals this season.
