Boxing Day in Portuguese style, and Tottenham tries to escape relegation.

It’s not Christmas, nor is it even in Great Britain, but this Monday will be a sort of ‘boxing day’ for the Portuguese League.

Seven matches start and end at the same time, around 8:15 PM, on a day that promises to be decisive for the championship standings, in what is the penultimate round of the League. Benfica hosts Sp. Braga at Luz and Sporting plays away against Rio Ave, in the fight for second place.

In the fight to avoid relegation, Tondela (17th), Casa Pia (16th) and Estrela da Amadora (15th) are trying to score points and secure their place in the league.

Tottenham has the same objective, taking to the field at 8 pm against Leeds in a Premier League match. There is also action in Spain and Italy, in addition to points of interest in other sports.
