German international centre=back extends contract until 2031
Nico Schlotterbeck has renewed his contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2031. The German centre=back, who joined the Dortmund club in 2022, was due to expire at the end of next season.
I am very happy to have renewed my contract with BVB. I deliberately took my time because it is an important decision for me. We had good conversations throughout, but it wasn’t a process that would be completed in a week or two for me. My goal is to win titles with Borussia Dortmund, the German international stated in declarations to the German club’s official media.
A key player for Borussia Dortmund, Schlotterbeck is also a regular starter for the German national team.
