Sporting won 4-2 away to Eléctrico in the 20th round of the regular season of the Liga. On Friday night, the hosts took the lead in the second minute thanks to Simi Saiotti, but Alex Merlim and Bernardo Paçó turned the game around, scoring in the 16th and 18th minutes respectively.

In the second half, Diogo Santos (24m) and Pauleta (27m) decided the contest, while Alê Teixeira (35m) reduced the score (4-2).

Thus, Sporting reached 49 points, taking advantage of Benfica’s defeat in Famalicão (4-3). The Lions are three points behind the Eagles and visit Fundão (10th) on Wednesday (8:30 pm).
