Roller hockey: Sporting beats Turquel and is in the Cup final four.

Sporting advanced in the Portuguese Roller Hockey Cup with a 5-2 victory over HC Turquel at the Pavilhão João Rocha in Lisbon.

It was Turquel who scored first, in the ninth minute, through Miguel Vicente. Facundo Navarro equalized and Diogo Barata gave the Lions the lead. Nolito Romero scored his second goal, and Alessandro Verona and Danilo Rampulla scored the other goals for the Lions. 

Turquel reduced the score to 5-2 through Salvador André, but it was to little or no avail. The Lions beat the team from the municipality of Alcobaça and advance to the Portuguese Cup in this sport.

Edo Bosch’s team thus joins Óquei Barcelos and CD Póvoa. Benfica will compete for the last ticket at AD Oeiras’ home ground this Wednesday.
