Torreense regained third place, winning 1-0 this Monday at home against Portimonense, in a match of the 26th round of the II Liga .

The only goal of the match was scored near half-time by Léo Azevedo (42m), on the rebound after a header from Kévin Zohi hit the post.

Thus, Torreense returns to third place, which grants access to the promotion play-offs, now with 42 points, one more than Vizela, who are fourth, and five behind second-placed Académico de Viseu.

Portimonense, having suffered their fifth consecutive defeat, remain in last place in the Second League with 24 points, five points behind Penafiel, the first team above the relegation zone.
