Second League: Lusitânia de Lourosa hosts Sporting B 15 kilomet..

Lusitânia de Lourosa will host Sporting CP B in the 25th round of the II Liga at the Luís Filipe Menezes Stadium in Vila Nova de Gaia, the League announced on Monday.

As has been the case throughout the season, Lusitanistas have once again requested a change of venue, as the necessary interventions to meet legal and regulatory requirements are still underway at their stadium.

Although the Estádio Cidade de Barcelos was initially indicated as an alternative venue, Lourosa has already used nine different stadiums this season, never having played at Gil Vicente’s ground.

According to the League, Gil Vicente’s field could not be used on this matchday due to the “high concentration of events and the respective operational commitment of personnel”.

Thus, the Santa Maria da Feira team will play again at Olival, in what will be the fourth time this season that they play as hosts at the Luís Filipe Menezes Stadium.

The match against Sporting’s reserve team is scheduled for next Monday, March 9th, at 11:00 AM .
