Besiktas coach Sergen Yalcin confessed that he was incredulous at Rafa’s attitude, who forced his departure from the club and ended up returning to Benfica .

Remembering that Besiktas managed to save 20 million euros and achieved an economic benefit with the departure of the Portuguese international, Sergen Yalcin also said: “I called Rafa and talked to him. This January, Rafa signed with Benfica until 2028, for whom he made his debut in the rout against Estrela da Amadora (4-0) , in the 19th round of the League.
