Benfica have now gone two games without a win.

Three games later, Lusitânia de Lourosa returned to winning ways in the championship, beating Benfica B 2-1 at their training center in Seixal.

Tiago Dias and Miguel Pereira scored, securing the victory for the visiting team. Diogo Prioste scored for Benfica.

After drawing against Chaves, Benfica B was looking to get back to winning ways. To do so, they had to get the better of Lusitânia, who, due to their poor form this season, are on a three-game winless streak (two draws and one defeat).

In the first half, Benfica dominated. Despite having five more shots than the visiting team, Benfica B went into halftime with the score at 0-0.

In the second half, all the emotion that was lacking in the first 45 minutes came to the surface. Lusitânia, contrary to what was expected from the first half, scored through Tiago Dias (79th minute). Miguel Pereira took advantage of the team’s momentum and made it 2-0 in the 86th minute. Diogo Prioste still managed to score a consolation goal for the red-and-white team in the 90+8th minute. With this defeat, Benfica B is in tenth place with 26 points . Lusitânia is in seventh position with 28 points.
