Hjulmand will miss the match against Casa Pia due to suspension

Morten Hjulmand is a confirmed absence for Rui Borges in the home game against Casa Pia, for the 18th round of the League.

Sporting’s captain received his fifth yellow card in the away match against Gil Vicente and will therefore serve a one-match suspension in the first game of the second round of the competition. It should be noted that, in between, Hjulmand will be available to play against V. Guimarães (League Cup) and PSG (Champions League).

It should be noted that the Sporting coach still has João Simões, Morita and Kochorashvili as remaining options for the Lions’ midfield.
