The Portuguese=Angolan winger had a contract until 2027.

Ivan Cavaleiro has reached an agreement with Tondela to terminate his contract, which was valid until 2027. The information, initially reported by A Bola, was confirmed by Maisfutebol with a source close to the process.

In his first season with the team from Beira, the 32=year=old made 14 appearances and scored two goals for Tondela in 2025/26. He last played in Tondela’s 3-1 victory against Arouca a month ago, on January 3rd.

Last season, the Portuguese-Angolan player played for Stal Mielec in Poland, after spells at Bragantino (Brazil), Lille (France), Alanyaspor (Turkey), Fulham and Wolverhampton in England, Monaco (France), Deportivo (Spain) and Benfica, where he trained and rose to the senior level.

Having also played for the youth teams of Belenenses, Alverca and GD Vialonga, Ivan Cavaleiro has already won a League title, a Portuguese Cup and a League Cup with Benfica, in addition to a French League title with Monaco and two Championship titles, one with Fulham and the other with Wolverhampton. The Portuguese=Angolan winger is now free to continue his career at another club.
