three new developments in preparation for the match against Casa

Rui Borges called up youngsters João Muniz, Rafael Nel and Lucas Anjos, who are part of Sporting’s B team, to Wednesday’s training session in order to mitigate the absences of injured players Geovany Quenda, Pedro Gonçalves, Nuno Santos, Ricardo Mangas, Salvador Blopa, Fotis Ioannidis, Eduardo Quaresma and Zeno Debast.

This morning’s training session served to prepare for the Lions ‘ home game against Casa Pia, in the 18th round of the League,  scheduled for next Friday (8:15 pm) , at the José Alvalade Stadium.

On Thursday (12:30 pm), the Sporting coach will preview the match in a press conference at the Cristiano Ronaldo Academy in Alcochete.

It is worth remembering that Morten Hjulmand and Maxi Araújo are unavailable for the game against Casa Pia due to suspension.
