Manchester United midfielder analyzed the current form of the big clubs in national football.

Bruno Fernandes analyzed the current situation of FC Porto, Sporting, and Benfica, pointing to several talented players capable of competing in the Premier League or the Italian and Spanish leagues. In an interview with Canal 11, the Manchester United midfielder heaped praise on FC Porto’s most recent transfers, starting with the coach.

“Sporting is playing attractive football, but FC Porto is stronger. The coach and the players they signed were ideal. Farioli’s style of play is very aggressive. (…) As for Sporting, Rui Borges has insisted on his idea and has been successful, with a very interesting dynamic. Benfica, on the other hand, had a strong transfer window, but the pieces aren’t fitting together. There’s no doubt they have a strong squad.

Mourinho? He surprised me. The manager likes these challenges, he wants to create a great history at Benfica, after having achieved it at FC Porto.”

“There are very interesting players in the Portuguese League. Given his intelligence, Aursnes would be well-suited to English football. Hjulmand is a complete player who adds value, is aggressive, and is at the Premier League level. I would also see Hjulmand in the Italian league, or Rodrigo Mora in Spain. The dynamics of the club or the league influence the kind of player you can become.
