Luiz Felipe Scolari, former coach of Portugal and current technical coordinator of Grêmio, welcomed Luís Castro to the club from Rio Grande do Sul, receiving the new coach with open arms and promises of… a barbecue.

“Hi Luís, best regards, all the best. Come join our team, come to Imortal. We are a fierce, strong and vibrant fan base that helps our team win. Come and you will be well received, just as I was well received in Portugal, our Portugal,” begins the former Portuguese national team coach.

The Brazilian coach, now 77 years old, then reiterated his welcome to Grêmio, as the Porto Alegre club is also known.

“Come with your technical team and know that we are waiting for you here with open arms. Our Immortal welcomes you with affection and will give you all the necessary support. Know that we are here with open arms to receive you, with Chimarrão, barbecue… get ready,” he further emphasized.
