The Kazakh tennis player withstood the taunts of Turkish fans, won the match, and ended up dancing on the court.

Kazakh tennis player Yulia Putintseva clashed with fans again during another match at the Australian Open, and this time ended up dancing on the court.

The charismatic tennis player had already made a name for herself in her debut at the first Grand Slam of the season, against Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, where she had to contend with a very noisy crowd. Now, in her match against Turkish player Zeynep Sonmez, with an even more hostile audience, Putintseva reacted with even more style.

Turkish fans packed the stands in support of Sonmez, the best Turkish tennis player of the moment, but even facing an opposing crowd that tried to distract Putintseva, the Kazakh player played her game and won 6=3, 6=7 (3=7) and 6=3, reaching the round of 16 for the first time at age 31.

At the end of the game, during the decompression period, another spectacle began, now entirely controlled by Putintseva.

Upon hearing the first boos from the Turkish fans, the Kazakh tennis player put a hand to her ear, asking them to boo louder, and ended up dancing in front of the many Turkish flags in the stands. Honestly, the atmosphere was crazy. Have you seen these people? They are very passionate. It’s great to see that, especially against me, because I love this kind of atmosphere,” Putintseva commented while still on the court.
