This moment will take place in all games this Saturday, a day of national mourning.

The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has decreed a minute of silence in honor of António Lobo Antunes for all matches taking place this Saturday that are organized by the organization.

In a short statement shared on its official website, the organization states that this decision aims to “mark and honor” the memory of one of the greatest figures in Portuguese literature. Furthermore, the FPF is paying tribute to António Lobo Antunes precisely on the national day of mourning decreed by the Government.

It should be noted that the writer passed away this Thursday , at the age of 83.
