In the final hours of the transfer window, the Vila do Conde team filled the gaps left by Clayton and André Luiz.

In a January transfer window that focused more on departures than arrivals, Rio Ave reinforced its squad on the last day with two attacking players, in addition to central defender Gustavo Mancha, from Olympiakos, and full-back Leonardo Buta.

The most prominent of the forwards is Tamble Monteiro, a sensation for Portimonense in the Second Division, who has signed a contract with the Vila do Conde club until 2030.

Tamble, a 25-year-old Guinean international, has distinguished himself in recent seasons playing for Portimonense, scoring 20 goals in just over 50 games.

From Italy comes Spaniard Jalen Blesa, from Cesena. He is 24 years old and has signed a contract valid until 2030 with the Vila do Conde club.

He primarily plays as a striker, but can also play on the right wing. In the Italian second division, he participated in 22 games, scoring four goals and providing one assist.

The forward also has experience playing for Dinamo Batumi in Georgia, Universitatea Craiova in Romania, FK Prishtina, Rahoveci and Istogu in Kosovo, and Arlesey Town in England.
