Grand finale in Miami with a spectacular last quarter.

The New York Knicks won the NBA Championship for the first time in their history by beating the San Antonio Spurs at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with a sensational comeback in the final quarter, ultimately winning 124-113.

The Knicks celebrated the final victory, but the truth is that the Spurs set the pace and led for most of the game. However, despite the advantage, the San Antonio team never managed to pull away.

The Spurs managed to build an eleven-point lead by the third quarter, thanks in large part to Victor Wembanyama’s outstanding performance, who scored 18 points in 25 minutes.

However, the Knicks rallied in the final quarter, with a spectacular twelve minutes that allowed them to turn the game around, scoring 35 points against just 19 for the Spurs, with OG Anunoby standing out with 28 points, as did Jalen Brunson with 25 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns who, even with a knee injury, added 16 points and 11 rebounds.

In the end, the Knicks were the stars of this third edition of the NBA Cup.
