Mariah Carey will be the star of the opening ceremony of the next Winter Olympic Games.

The event organizers confirmed the performance of the American singer at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, which normally hosts Inter and Milan matches.

Recognized worldwide for her unmistakable voice and a musical output that transcends generations and cultures, Mariah Carey fully embodies the emotional atmosphere that accompanies the journey to the Games,” the event organizers emphasized. 

The remaining participants in this opening ceremony will be revealed later, so the Winter Olympic Games will run until February 22nd.
