League: Pavlidis takes the lead as the league’s top scorer.

Pavlidis scored three goals again in a match counting towards the 17th round of the League, and overtook Luis Suárez, taking sole possession of first place with a two-goal advantage over the Sporting striker.

Luis Suárez, it should be remembered, had scored Sporting’s only goal in the draw against Gil Vicente, which allowed him to temporarily take the lead in the top scorers’ list.

Samu, the Spanish forward for FC Porto, only plays next Sunday in the Azores against Santa Clara, and will have his opportunity to get closer to the two top scorers in the championship.
