A draw against Lecce, with Tiago Gabriel, leaves Juventus further away from first place.

Francisco Conceição was once again included in Luciano Spalletti’s starting eleven, but even that didn’t prevent Juventus from dropping points again, four games later: they drew at home with Lecce (1-1) and thus saw their lead slip further away.

Juventus , in fact , started the game losing early, thanks to a goal scored in the 45th minute by Lameck Banda. The Zambian international striker opened the scoring with a high recovery, scoring a great goal inside the area.

In the second half, with Francisco Conceicao no longer on the field, Weston McKennie restored parity to the score, which remained unchanged until the end of the 90 minutes. However, Juventus could have even left the match with three points when they had a penalty kick, which Jonathan David failed to convert.

Juventus are currently fifth in the standings with 33 points after the 18th matchday: if Inter Milan win, they will be six points behind the league leaders.
