Bernardo Folha provides the assist for Al Wahda’s first goal in their 3=0 victory over Al Nasr in the League Cup.
Portuguese defender Rafa Rodrigues sealed Al Ain’s 3-0 victory away to Al Nasr in the first leg of the UAE League Cup semi-finals.
With Al Nasr reduced to ten men from the 42nd minute onwards, following the expulsion of Luka Milivojevic, Al Ain built their victory in the second half with goals from Soufiane Rahimi, Kodjo Laba (from the penalty spot), and Rafa Rodrigues.
Also on Friday, Al Wahda, coached by Portuguese manager José Morais, beat the trophy holder, Al Jazira, also by 3-0.
Bernardo Folha provided the assist for the first of Reza Ghandipour’s two goals, with veteran Dusan Tadic sealing the victory from the penalty spot.
The second leg matches are scheduled for December 13th.
