Gil Martins transferred from FC Porto to Gil Vicente

Gil Vicente announced, in the final hours of the transfer window, the signing of Gil Martins from FC Porto.

The Barcelos club confirmed a contract with the player until 2028.

According to the statement from FC Porto, the club will retain 50 percent of the rights to the 19=year=old midfielder. However, the financial details of the deal were not disclosed. 

“In the final hours of the January transfer window, FC Porto reached an agreement with Gil Vicente for the permanent transfer of the sporting registration rights and 50% of the economic rights of Gil Martins, while retaining the remaining 50% of the player’s economic rights,” FC Porto stated in an official note. 

Gil Martins played one game for FC Porto’s B team this season and now joins the team that is fifth in the league.
