Frederico Varandas with his family at the Globe Soccer Awards

Frederico Varandas, president of Sporting, attended the Globe Soccer Awards gala in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Sunday and posted a photo on social media accompanied by his family, his wife and one of his children.

We recall that Sporting was once nominated for the best club in the world award, before the list was reduced to five clubs, an award that ended up being given to Paris Saint=Germain.

The Sporting president was accompanied by his wife, Katarina Larsson, as well as his son Santiago, who the day before had already had the opportunity to take a picture next to tennis player Novak Djokovic, who was also at the same gala.
